Experimentation:
Many cruel experiments were conducted on inmates in Auschwitz by Josef Mengele. The age of the subject did not matter nor did the condition of the subject.
Some of the experiments Mengele conducted are:
- The Changing of Eye Color
- Sex Change Operations
- Blood Transfusions
- Organ Removal
- Limb Removal
- Impregnations
- Lethal Germ Injections

TWIN EXPERIMENTATION:
Mengele had a strange obsession with twins and humans that were born with deformities. He treated them "best" in a way. At least when he wasn't torturing them. Many of the holocaust survivors speak of remembering Mengele as a gentle man who was like a father figure. As crazy as that sounds, it was because he put up a friendly demeanor at first to hide his sinister self. Josef would reel the little children who were just separated from parents in by giving them chocolates and befriending them. The older kids could see right through his wall of lies.
There was a case with two twins that Mengele actually did an operation to sew them together. The picture to the left shows the actual twins sewed together and a diagram showing the connection points after sewing. These operations were VERY painful for both twins. Infection from vein connection is what killed them. Other experiments mengele would do to twins where injecting a disease in one but not the other. The second twin was like a control group. Once the first twin died, then the second twin was injected with the poison to. Mengele compared how the two twins reacted.
